Integration of Chinese & Western Medicine: Optimized Outpatient and Inpatient Services

The International Medical Department provides both outpatient and inpatient services.

· Outpatient Services: Set in an elegant classical environment, the outpatient area includes assessment rooms, general practice and specialist clinics, TCM-specific treatment rooms (offering TCM constitution identification, facial acupuncture, music therapy, aromatherapy, and meditation), comprehensive TCM treatment rooms, non-surgical intervertebral disc decompression treatment rooms, examination rooms, and a pharmacy. With medical concierge services, patients enjoy a seamless "appointment-examination-treatment-follow-up" one-stop medical experience.

· Inpatient Services: The inpatient area offers warm and comfortable accommodations, including single rooms, double rooms, VIP suites, comprehensive TCM treatment rooms, and a TCM cultural corner. It provides a range of medical services for inpatients and health check-up clients.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration: A New Paradigm for Holistic Health Management

As the only national TCM clinical research base in China featuring non-pharmaceutical therapies, the hospital houses three national TCM regional diagnosis and treatment (specialty) centers: Acupuncture, Tuina (TCM manual therapy), and Dermatology. Building on the initial establishment of 6 first-class domestic integrated Chinese-Western medicine clinical centers (Cardiology, Oncology, Orthopedics & Traumatology, Rehabilitation, Gynecology, and Otorhinolaryngology & Ophthalmology), the hospital has further established 18 Chinese-Western medicine collaborative clinical centers, including Neurology and Gastroenterology.

The International Medical Department integrates resources across the hospital, bringing together department directors and core professionals in internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, acupuncture and moxibustion, Tuina, rehabilitation, and various subspecialties. A dedicated team provides full-process management, adopting a multidisciplinary joint diagnosis-and-treatment model of "general practice + specialty" and "internal medicine + surgery" for complex diseases. For inpatients, a co-management model is used to ensure optimized, convenient treatment plans.

Pursuing refined and humanized services, the International Medical Department advocates "high-quality healthy living" and the TCM concept of "preventive treatment of disease (zhì wèi bìng)". In collaboration with the Earmersion team, it has developed "immersive music therapy" based on TCM syndrome differentiation and constitution identification, integrating TCM herbs, music, aromatherapy, lighting, and scenes. This therapy is suitable for individuals with physical and mental illnesses, including anxiety, depression, insomnia, hypertension, and pain, as well as special groups such as those with chronic fatigue, sub-health, pregnant women, and the elderly, achieving simultaneous treatment of the body and mind.

In partnership with the Acupuncture and Dermatology Departments, it has designed unique facial acupuncture programs for women to activate the skin’s regenerative and self-repair functions, enhance facial muscles, and thus rejuvenate the face. Working with the Tuina Department team, it uses advanced IDD therapy equipment and Tuina manipulations to provide non-surgical intervertebral disc decompression treatment for office workers troubled by neck and low back pain. Additionally, it offers personalized health preservation plans, including diet and lifestyle recommendations, as well as TCM’s traditional Dao Yin exercises. 

Multilingual Services & Direct Billing Contracts for Enhanced Experience
